In July, two interns joined the OEX corporate communications team: Magda G. and Magda J. Several weeks of intensive learning, new challenges, and inspiring professional experiences lie ahead of them.
The internship program is an important part of OEX Group’s efforts to support young people in gaining practical experience and developing professional competencies. During their internships, both participants support the corporate communications team in its day-to-day activities, take part in organizing events and conferences, and help create content for both internal and external communications.
At the beginning, I was unsure how I would fit into the communications team, as I had no previous experience in this area. However, it quickly turned out that my concerns were unnecessary. All tasks are always explained thoroughly, and the feedback I receive is constructive and helps me better understand the principles of effective communication. I really appreciate the team’s approach to interns, as well as their commitment to showing us different aspects of the job and sharing their knowledge - emphasizes Magda J.
An internship at OEX is also an opportunity to learn about the work of different departments and selected companies within the Group. This allows participants to gain a deeper understanding of the organization and make more informed decisions about their future career paths.
What I enjoy most are the conversations with managers and experts from various business areas, such as marketing and finance. It is a great opportunity to learn from people who have been developing their expertise for years and have extensive professional experience - says Magda G.
The internships are carried out, among others, as part of the Career Program of the Polish Business Roundtable (Polska Rada Biznesu), which enables young people to gain their first professional experience and learn about working in a dynamic business environment.
